About The Event

Please join us for a night of fundraising to benefit Norfolk Public Schools at our First Annual Growing Together Fundraiser with a Kentucky Derby theme! Derby attire is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for best hat and most unique jacket!

Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets to "Place Your Bets" with our bookie ahead of live Kentucky Derby race coverage! 

Funding from this important event will be used to finance staffing for a before-school program for the 2024-2025 school year called Active Kids aka Build Our Kids' Success (BOKS) which provides before-school physical activity and fitness activities to boost children's health and well-being in our Norfolk elementary schools. This year's goal is to raise $10,000 through individual donations, business sponsorships, and event-related donations so 200 Norfolk children can attend for free. Any additional funds that are not used towards the BOKS program will be split equally between the PTO and SEPAC for curriculum enhancements.
